Hi, my name is Jane, the director of JL Speech Pathology. Welcome! I created JL Speech Pathology because of my passion for working with children, and my desire to help as many families as possible.
I believe strongly in a supportive and collaborative approach to speech therapy, working with yourselves and your children hand in hand to understand how we can help bring out your child's most authentic selves so they can flourish independently in their day-to-day lives.
In my therapy sessions, I provide a series of interactive activities, play-based therapy, and pragmatic tools for parents - all of which have been purposely designed to encourage fun, experiential learning while working towards a deliberate set of communication goals tailored to your child's needs.

Funding
There are different funding options available to service your child's speech therapy sessions.
NDIS
Your child's speech therapy sessions may be eligible for funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Medicare
Your child's speech therapy sessions may be covered by Medicare through a Chronic Disease Management Plan, which can be created by your GP.
Private Health Insurance
Your child's speech pathology sessions may be covered by your private health insurance extras.
